Who I Am
My name is Marcus Smigliani, and I'm passionate about photography and graphic design. I've worked on numerous projects for social media, including motion graphics and Photoshop work, over my five years in the design industry. For about four years now, I have also practiced photography. I'm fortunate to have had the chance to pursue a profession doing what I enjoy. I've always had a clear focus and been motivated by goals. I made the decision to carry out my professional path when I had a vision for it.
I'm proud to claim that I've learnt from so many skilled experts in my area, but I'm also aware that there are many new opportunities I can learn from. I put in a lot of effort, enjoy working with others, and am eager to discover what initiatives could benefit from my special skill set. What pushes me most to produce my best work is having a supportive group around me who encourages and compliments me on my work. I'm constantly on the lookout for new and useful skills that will enable me to do better work. There's always room for improvement and new things to learn, whether I'm working on a new collaboration or doing something on my own. Photography
Proficient
I have been familiar with photography for 4 years now. Photographer skills are those skills needed to create high-quality pictures, including artistic vision and technical knowledge of camera equipment and the art of photography. Photography can be an art, a hobby, or just a way of documenting your own life. For some, photography is a career. Professional photographers work in a variety of fields, from advertising to journalism. They can also work independently, doing portraiture, or creating and selling prints for display.
Graphic Design
Proficient
I have been familiar with graphic design for 6 years now. Graphic design can be used by companies to promote and sell products through advertising, by websites to convey complicated information in a digestible way through infographics, or by businesses to develop an identity through branding, among other things.
Branding
Competent
I have been familiar with the concept of branding for close to 3 years now. Branding allows you to build relationships with your audience, which can eventually turn them into loyal customers. You can create a brand that people care about and put yourself ahead of businesses that aren't using this to their advantage.
